Haha, it’s been a while since my last post! Now I’m posting as Mrs. Olson
Married life is wonderful!!! So far, we have painted the kitchen and our bedroom (last night we stayed up to paint our bedroom, put together our new bed and 2 “dressers” they’re kinda like mini-dressers - they fit perfectly in the space) We are both very excited about our new home, and slowly it is becoming “our” home. Oh! We got a really good deal on a KitchenAid mixer, of all the things I wanted in our home a KitchenAid mixer was WAY up there on the list! We had waited, and waited - not exactly sure why (heh) AND on a whim after taking care of all of Buddy’s (Mom and Dad O’s - really Kristy’s dog) information to fly him to Hong Kong, we decided to go to the Coast (yes the “Coast” not the “beach” or the “shore” - if you’ve been out on the West Coast you understand there is not as much beach as rocky coastal area.) Out by the coast there is an outlet mall with a Kitchen Collection store, the mixer was on sale on top of on sale - We got a nicer mixer than we expected to get at a cheaper price then the cheaper mixer!! Praise the Lord! He is so good to us, I don’t even understand that. So many times I think “Lord, why are you so good to me (us)? I don’t even serve you adequately. I know I could do more, I want to do more, but so often I fail - Why would you bless me anyway?”…..Mind boggling. He is worthy to be praised!! Praise be to the name of the Lord!! What a good God. Again I am reminded of a much earlier post as I reflect on my failure to praise our AWESOME, POWERFUL, MAJESTIC, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS CREATOR AND GOD as I ought! He is SOO good!! He does everything for our good and His Glory - How often I fail to see my Majestic Creator’s Mighty hand in my life. Praise be the name of the Lord.
Here are some pictures of our mixer AND our HOUSE!! I can’t wait to get some of the new bedroom pictures up! We are very excited about the way that turned out

Andrea,
We are so glad that everything is going well, and that you are excited about God’s blessings (big and small). The house looks very nice. We can’t wait to see more pictures.
Painting together is fun, isn’t it? I’ve heard it is the best test for compatibility in marriage, so since you made it through, you’re doing well for your first year. As good as marriage is now, it gets even better!
So, how did the dog feel about being shipped to Hong Kong? Was he a little anxious about the journey?
Well, we look forward to seeing and hearing about the daily events in the Andy and Andrea Olson family. Keep us posted.
We love you both,
Tim and Sarah

Hey Tim and Sarah!
Hehe, Painting was fun but Andy did almost all of the work… I was the brush cleaner and helper. It was a lot of fun. I found that

I enjoy doing prep work and Andy enjoys doing the actual painting. I mean painting is ok, but I do not like to do all the detail work - I usually get paint everywhere
So I suppose we did find a pattern that works well for the two of us. The dog is being shipped tomorrow, but I do not think he has any anxiety yet… Tomorrow when we go to the airport and try to actually ship him I think it will be difficult. He’s kinda become like our little kid or something and we’re going to miss him, but hopefully he will be happy when he lands in Hong Kong and sees his “mommy” (Kristy)

Andrea,
So glad to see your new post. The mixer looks great. You will be able to do a lot of good baking with that. The house looks very nice too. And I look forward to seeing what you did with your bedroom and the rest of the house. Married life sure seems to agree with you, and I couldn’t be happier for you and Andy. Looking forward to coming out in January and seeing you both. Talk to you soon.
I love you.

So good to see you are doing so well! I’m a little jealous that you are already getting to enjoy your man, but Ryan should be home in December, and I just can’t wait!

Hey! He actually made it in for his 2 weeks of leave 2 hours and I did say 2 hours before the birth!
It was wonderful and such a blessing to have him there for the birth and it was nice to be able to spend a few days with him before he had to go back. He really will be home in no time at all, so no worries!
You need to check out my blog and look at my beautiful boy!
