Yay! Less than 10 months till my wedding now!! it was 10 months on the 13th. I really enjoy this blogging thing! Neat idea whoever thought of it….Anyway, I am so excited about all of the great opportunites the Lord opened up for me to participate in this year at school (Youth Group (GO Nu Delta!!) Leagues, Prayer Captain in my room and lots of chances to be an example to those around me.) And of course with all of these wonderful priviledges comes much responsibility. It is humbling to be put in places of responsibility, it really makes you, well me anyway, realize what you do really does affect other people. If I don’t spend time with the Lord in the morning I can’t be the effective witness, and encouragement I desire to be for those people God puts in my path, also if I don’t pray for those God has placed around me, then I do a great disservice to them and God. The main thing, most definately, is that I am not spending that time of sweet communion and intercession with my Master and my Friend, but also then I am not as aware of the needs and feelings of those I fail to pray for. Wow I think this blogging thing is a good way to clear out my mind and heart, and helps me remember who and what I am in light of eternity. Just a servant of the Great and Mighty King Jesus! My Savior and my Lord! - Wow I believe the GREATEST lesson I have learned as of this beginning of the school year is that praising my Great God just adds depth and meaning to my relationship with Him! He is Almighty, Powerful, Wonderful, Counselor, The Mighty Prince of Peace, the Everlasting Father. I can completely understand why so much of the Bible is filled with praise to our God! I get so overwhelmed at the idea of His love for me! I GET to praise His Holy Matchless name! WOW!!! The more you praise the easier it is to continue praising…I could probably keep going on but, as usual in college, time is short and must be spent wisely…well I TRY to spend my time wisely….I must go study for a few exams and write later! Thanks for reading and Hope all is well with you all!!!!!!!!!
P.S. John and Ruth got COUCHES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HORRAAAYYYY!!!! hehe
Can’t wait to come home and see!!! Love you all!

It is so good to read your excitement about praising the LORD! God is so great! College is definitely a good place to learn about having daily devotions. If you can do it at college consistently, there is hope for the hereafter…marriage, family, and ministry. I look forward to being faithful in spending time with the LORD even with this little one on the way. I believe it could be a challenge, but I want to commit that time to the LORD now, so I am ready then. You’ll have to keep me accountable!
Love ya, sis!

P.S. Yeah for John and Ruth!

Dear Andrea,
Thank you for the reminder of how important it is to spend time with the Lord praying and just praising Him. While dad was out of work I did a lot more praying than I had been doing, and I know many others were praying too. But now that the Lord has graciously supplied dad with a good job, I want to keep on praying more consistently and praising God. I just finished reading Tim’s ordination paper and we alot spent time with John and Ruth this past weekend. What a blessing to see God working in all of our children’s lives. He is a great God and greatly to be praised!!! I pray for you daily, Andrea, that the Lord will sustain you at this time and you will be able to get through these next ten months. I know it is hard being away from Andy and your family. (Next year at this time, Andy will be your family). I praise God that He has given you ministries at school and at church to keep you busy. I miss you very much and cannot wait to see you on fall break. Till then, take care.
I love you very much,
Mom

What a Godly young woman you have become. You have truly matured, and grown spiritually while away at college. I am happy that you are having a good senior year. They go fast, espicially when planning a wedding. I still can’t believe you are getting married, and I still may not allow it, haha. Well, keep up the good work, and keep up your walk with God. He truly does deserve all our honor and praise, thanks for the reminder!
